National Student Database
Ensure that employers get the right person, with the right skills, for the job with our National Student Database (NSD).
Our NSD is an online tool that helps students find out what skills potential employees are looking for and where to get them.
How does it work?
The NSD enables students to record their skills and qualifications, evaluate their career options, identify skills gaps and achieve the skills needed to be aligned with those sought by employers.
The system links to your job profiles and National Occupational Standards (NOS) so students can search their chosen careers options and identify the exact qualifications and experience needed for their desired profession.
The National Student Database is designed to:
- Provide students with a clear direction on what they need to get a job in their chosen profession
- Allow tutors and work placement employers to endorse students qualifications and skills
- Enables students to develop a CV which can be posted onto our Job Shop which will match them to suitable job vacancies
- Helps employers to identify how well students are suited for vacant positions, ensuring they have the right person, with the right skills, for the job
- Enhances colleges reporting capabilities for OFSTED and Framework for Excellence requirements.
