Enterprise Essentials offers the development of business management skills for small and medium sized business owners and managers.
Based on internationally recognised Enterprise Standards from the Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative (SFEDI), our system helps identify the essential elements of making a small business successful.
With Enterprise Essentials you'll be able to provide guidance and support to businesses for every stage in their journey. From the first stage of thinking about starting up a business, the steps of starting up a business, to running and growing a business.
Enterprise Essentials is designed to:
- Drive qualifications and learning provision to ensure they meet the needs of employers
- Engage employers in the upskilling challenge by investing in their people’s skills through
the use of the Employer Skills Development Tool and National Student Database
- Engage education, training and professional bodies to play their part in the skills agenda
- Provide signposting for organisations and individuals to quality assured provision
- Facilitate the fast creation and editing of National Occupational Standards (NOS) and job roles, with online consultation tools to allow speedy employer feedback directly back to the database.
